THANK YOU, T.O.
Toronto Art Saves II at the Gladstone Hotel
As I am sure you have figured out by now, we are really happy with the success of this year’s Toronto Art Saves charity art exhibition. Thanks to the efforts of many people, the event was a great success and went off without a hitch. I really love to meet new people and get pumped up by all the talent and passion this city has to offer. A ton of great people showed up and we made a ton of new friends.
As a final recap for the event, I would like to issue a special thanks to some of the people who helped make TAS II the huge success it was.
SPECIAL THANKS GOES TO:
- First and foremost, all the artists who contributed for a great cause. Without you, TAS would be an empty room with a few sad people drinking alone.
- Ryan Rader who donated the fabulous piece of art above to charity. [If you know of anyone who would be interested in purchasing Ryan's oil painting (100% proceeds going to the Ontario Association of Children's Aid Societies) please have them email me at dan.mittag(@)dapperlifestyle.com for details - minimum bid is $1200]
- Emile Schilling who put in way more than her share of the effort in planning, organizing and setting up the event.
- John Robinson at Stella Artois who agreed to sponsor the event and ensured all of the people who came had a few, ice-cold Stella’s on the house.
- Britt at the Gladstone Hotel, who’s help and guidance made our lives really easy as we set up the event.
- Linda at Furniture Bank who was very supportive and was willing to share some real-estate and their awesome artist-designed chairs with us.
- Jon Ngai and Jon’s boss, Angela, at Virgin Mobile who donated the BlackBerry Torch for our giveaway.
- Cindy at Zenan Custom Cresting who was more than helpful in process of creating those kick-ass rocks glasses you all went home with.
- DJ A[K]A who, as always, crushed his set, kept the tunes flowing and made sure everyone was having a good time all night long.
Finally, a BIG shout out goes to everyone who came out to show their support, say hi and chill with us. You guys make all the difference.
We are already scheming to make next year’s event bigger and better!
Cheers!
Yours Truly,
D&D
