Saw an interesting article today on my mashable feed about this company Jack Backs (video above is a review from mac mixing @ macmixing.com). Adam Baumgartner, the brain child behind Jack Backs, has created a perfect wood replacement, that can be customized, for the glass backing of the iPhone 4. The backing comes in a number of wood options, such as bamboo, walnut, maple, cherry, and mahogany, and all are laser etched. A cool product if you’re looking for a sustainable resource replacement, or if you just want to stand out from the ever popular iPhone crowd.
Jack Backs also provide extremely reasonable do it yourself replacements for common iPhone parts that break. They have replacement LCD screens, batteries and even the original backing replacement your phone. A original idea for a pretty cool company.
