Original Skateboards is my 100% go to for longboards. I got into longboarding a year ago, when I lived in AB for a summer, and it’s definitely the choice way of getting around in Banff. With a city full of winter board bums, and the scenery to boot, every rider is looking for their fix in the summer and any session we took to on our boards was legendary. The crew at original enjoy the life style of skateboard rockstars and I am constantly reminded why I got into boarding, watching their primo HD video sessions from across the globe. The above video showcases their new line of longboard pintails, I myself would rather rock an Apex 34 (see www.originalskateboards.com), but anyway the crew is doing it, they are doing it big. The video is an homage to the summer season gone by, as they take to the street for one more summer session. It features OS creators Brad and Scott Imbrie, the legendary (at least in my mind) Brian Bishop and a host of other riders.
