My Small Story Interview with the creators of Contra Magazine
While in NYC for July 4th Laron Batchelor, who is the creator of mysmallstory.com pulled out his camera for an inspiring interview featuring Contra Magazine. The interview introduces you to Trung Hoang, the Founder & Editor-in-Chief and Glenn Manucdoc, the Creative Director of Contra Magazine. For those of you that don’t know, thinkcontra.com is a Toronto based fashion, art, design and lifestyle magazine. The interview is composed of many interesting points including how the Canadian culture is about living the ehlife, Trung Hoang discusses being an entrepreneur and he also talks about “kush” being a major factor in the company name. I was also very impressed by the work and story of LaRon Batchelor. His site mysmallstory.com contextualizes life through a collection of unscripted film conversations with entrepreneurs, artists, small businesses and every day inspirational people to be shared weekly. The amazing part is the story of how he got into filming what he does. His “about” story is both sad and remarkable.
