People always say that good music is good music but I would like to take this opportunity to respectfully disagree. Now this is just an opinion but I believe that great music is played with real Instruments and is listened to for their years of practice, talent, and ability to perform. Most of the music today on the other hand I wouldn’t consider great music since most of it is profit orientated or made by someone else which is not what a musician should be at least to me. I’m not saying that I am against hip hop or new music because there still are many talented new artists such as Drake, and kid Cudi to name a few… I would say that I consider them to be more poetic in that their lyrics are the strongest part of the music that stands out. To sum up my argument great music is from do it all musicians with instrumental talent and sometimes the lyrics don’t mater so much. New music or hiphop is music that is formed around poetry, inspiring words, and being able to relate to the artist. With that being said…. Drakes latest single, Like or dislike?
