Mykita Eyewear continues to push creativity over being commercial with the “Yuri” sunglasses. The futuristic looking sunglasses were inspired by Yuri Gargarin, who was the first human in outer space. The ideology behind the design is that they are made to protect the 3rd eye and brain, emphasizing the possibility of a new type of man. The Frenchman, Romain Kremer has already caught the attention of artists like Lady Gaga as she was recently seen rocking a pair. I find them interesting because of the futurism behind them and I strongly respect anyone who pushes the bar creatively.
